Searching Poem by Rhonda Hairston

Searching

The Sky is clear on a rainy day
Drops of water strike our face, hit our tongue
To see what we have to say
'Oh, Sun when will you be back? '
We need to keep on track
The world turns, churns and feels your glow
Absorbs your energy to all the people below
They await your return patiently
So they won't walk the earth aimlessly

Rhonda, you're off to a good start- - I really like this one a lot! Welcome to Poem Hunter! I hope that your star will rise as quickly as mine did. I submitted my first poem on March 13th, and look where I am only a week later- -A Level 3, soon to be Level 4. I say, go with your heart. If you just express what's inside you, people will love it, relate, and respond.
