I searched for you my whole lifetime
I searched for you and time after time
I lost my way….

I lost my way because what I thought was love
Was not really love at all
What I thought was real
Was not at all really real
And each time I’d fall so hard on my face
Losing the relationship game at the fastest pace
I could never seem to learn my lesson
It was like I wanted the pain and not a true blessin
But then I found you; or was it that you FOUND me?
Whatever the case with you is where I knew I should be

It was you that made me realize that life without love is not living
And with you I saw that love is best for giving
And with you I found that its heaven when two souls connect
When two hearts become one its more special than you can expect
And when forever happens between us two
It’s a lifetime of love we live, share and do

I finally found you and no matter what happens next in my life
I’ll always remember how you made me your wife
Not your wife as in exchanging society’s paper and rings
But as your queen because you became my King
And I’ll remember the love you showed me like no one else would
You made me feel special like only you could
You taught me to believe and to embrace love so close
Holding it close and making of life the most

Alas I no longer have to wait.
For in you I’ve found my true soul mate
And I know that there will never be another
My searching is over…we have found each other!
