Searching - Poem by Holly Heron

I wander through life alone,
I feel them,
The connection pulling at me,
Calling me,
I am incomplete,
Half a person, half a being,
I need them, I'm drawn,
They are my other half,
The answer to my lonliness,
That only they can feel,
I crave this,
When I see them, I'll know them,
Does he look for me,
I'll spend my life searching,
Without ever realising,
When we meet I'll know,
My soul, my heart is always watching,

    Dear Holly,
This reminds so much of a Cyndi Lauper song titled 'Searching' that just happens to be one of my favourites; similar elements, similar style. Add 4 chords and a chorus and you'd be on the same playing field. I know, you're thinking to yourself,
who the hell is Cyndi Lauper, but believe you me, she started off with poems such as these. Stick with your writing is all I'm saying.
