Seas In Peril Poem by Frederick Nellist

Seas In Peril

Rating: 4.0

Earths oceans endlessly pure
Now contaminated seas
How long must Neptune endure
Marina's once poetry to me.

Plastic jetsam not their taste
Beaches reject pristine
Tides vomit man made waste
The beach combers clean.

Sea is home to marine life deep
How long Dolphins seen
Synthetic diets steal their sleep
War declared on aqua marine.

How far will this infamy slide
Are the seas a has been
Mermaids no longer kissed by tide
Foot prints no longer seen.
