Do you know of the truth of the world?
Where girl meets boy & boys meets girl?
And how one meeting can plant a seed in the heart
And it can also start the destruction to draw people apart

When the seed of love is born in the Spring
You wish nothing more to have your love close in the form of a ring
Your place in the world has no worth in the world of romance
And as Summer comes along the horizon, your heart continues to dance

With each meeting, you learn more of your other
All their secrets and things they find a bother
But then you see the love between two become the love between three
And you let the love disappear like the leave from as tree

In the winter you mourn for the love gone from your life
Plans for the future of a happy husband and wife
And though the love lost will cause your heart to sting
But you’ll always wait for the return of spring…
