Seasons Of Love Poem by Arunesh Goswami

Seasons Of Love

Oh! Those days when you were nigh
When we sing songs the day long
When thy perfume of love sparkle in your eye
To ache my heart; those days are gone.
Those days when thy emotions glisten like ripples
When thy promise of affection was strong
When like the whispering leaves our heart jingles
Starting each other; those days are gone!
Of the cosmic truth, nothing we knew
To the mountain and the sea, to the universe we belong
Like the clouds above I float to love you
And steal your breathe; those days are gone.
Sleeping or awaken to us are the same
Alike the twinkling stars we blink on
And then you smile, this heart aches again
Aspiring for your lovely touch; those days are gone.
Those days when in thy water we splash and play
We wing in the air with briskly motion
When like the flowers we bloomed in the day
And at night…; O those days are gone.
