Second Hand Sally Poem by Robert James Busby

Second Hand Sally

Second Hand Sally

Second hand sally,
She'll search, gladly,
She'll love you, madly,
She'll frown upon a rally.

Second hand sally,
Wants a united world,
Enough food on the table,
And feed for the birds.

Heavens above,
What have they done,
What a web they have spun,
Soon, they'll be buying guns.

Second hand sally,
She'll preach the good gospel,
She'll drown her demons,
And drink prosecco in the bath.

Second hand sally,
She pays for her daddy,
She cleans like crazy,
And likes her pale hazy../ loves her babies…

Second hand sally.
