Second Sight Poem by Sheena Blackhall

Second Sight

I saw forget me nots in widow's weeds
I saw a forest die from poisoned seeds
And fishes turn to lightning in the sky
The moon turn black and close its silver eye
I saw a century of monstrous games
Where millions walked into inhuman flames
