Secrecy And Friendship Poem by Noorie Ali

Secrecy And Friendship

3

As we’ve just begun the mystery
I cannot let this secrecy out
Who knows what I am to you?
It’s only been a few
Just a few days with you
Even if I’m without you

Ruptured in some way or another
As you creep in further
I speak and your tongue continues to grow
I say and utter words you don’t know

Yet of me … 3

As we’ve just begun the mystery
I suppose you don’t know me
You don’t know me well enough
To say or judge me

These nights lay on silent rendezvous
How can I
Can I attempt to tempt you?

I hiss in my inner sense
I don’t trust you
Its not that I don’t want to
I want it enough, enough to paint a picture of you in my head
So when I’m solvent ill confine in you
Some day
Let’s just say its early days
I cannot
But can touch you
In the ways
You would love me too

As we’ve just begun the mystery
Will this secrecy last?
A lifetime in dark ally’s and
Be a burden on you

No..

Ill be gone, swiftly outt’a your hands by the time
They find us out.

The roses in your palm
Decayed in your hand
As I reach for another entity.
