Secret Love Poem by Mwangi Gichuki

Secret Love

Rating: 4.8

When i first saw her smile,
My mind she blew over,
For a while I was glued to her beauty,
Smitten I was, by her beauty,
Every time she sat in front of me,
I could cowardly listen to her voice,
If asked,
I could describe her back to detail,
Well, ' I always had her back'
Though acted like I didn't care,
Like my emotions were so bare,
Like my heart was a Goliath,
Like it was only me, myself and I,
She became my David,
With one hug she knocked me off my feet,
With my sword, she cut off my pride,
She was the owner of my fantasies,
She was the one who dominated my dreams,
She was an angel, a goddess maybe,
Speaking to her sent chills down my spine,
Enough to send me to a glass of wine,
Her fragrance better than rose's,
Her physique...hmm, breathtaking,
Her smile....my problems with it, it takes,
She is my Supergirl, an equal to Mona Lisa,
If only she realized what she has done to me,
Turned my sky pink, my black, white,
Only if she knew, my secret admirer.
