Secrets Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Secrets

I hide a secret and I am not suppose to tell
But I will reveal it all through the words I spell
When me and my army sacked the kingdom of Troy
Destined for greatness ever since I was a boy
From my throne in Macedonia to the gardens of Babylon
We conquered it all through the powers of Zeus and Apollon
From a Mongol tribe becoming a majestic empire
With my noble knights and my round table
Becoming a French emperor for I was unstoppable
From a father of a nation who gave freedom and independence
Yes we wrote it all through our virtue and our conscience
In Scotland they called me the freedom fighter
In Calamba, Laguna the martyr and poetic writer
Finally in Berlin I was the orator and the Fuhrer
People fought and died for me for I was their leader
In the course of history we must all be aware
Of things that might happen so we could prepare
I don't boast but rather obey the will of the father
The enlightenment of mankind is what really matter
I might come out as a lunatic or an insane person
But my only message is to give mankind a lesson
