See Ya Later Mom Poem by Marilyn Lott

See Ya Later Mom

Rating: 5.0

She’s gone now, I’m afraid
Slipped away from me
But I know that some day
We’ll be together for eternity

Yes, there’ll be a pause
For a few years down the road
But I know there’ll be a day
When God carries my weary load

I’m not in any hurry though
I’d like you all to know
But when God calls to me
I’ll know it’s time to go

I have lost my best friend
For her I’ll try to be strong
But I know it’s not forever
I’ll see ya later Mom!

Written for a friend who just lost her mother.

A loving tribute...it is really hard to express the loss we feel in any form that transcends the pain, but at least you can show the optimism and hope of reunion and also the day when the good memories are all that you remember....nicely done...Coach
