I wish you'd see me now
how bold and strong and true
I'm not who i used to be
not hopelessly in love with you

but seeing you once more
brings back memories I can't forget
for you were once the world to me
if only we've never met

I won't have to feel so lonely
without your presence near
I won't have to think of you
after each passing empty year

I can't ever let this feeling go
no matter how okay I think I am
the feelings buried inside me
will always resurface again
