Self Discovery Poem by Ghazala Lari

Self Discovery

Within depths of heart, the soul delves,
Seeking aspirations, aims it shelves.
Love's essence, care's gentle glow,
And what it craves from a charming beau.

Each nerve and vein meticulously traced,
Uncovering secrets hidden in the shadows' embrace.
Silent whispers echo, a feeling unspoken,
Thoughts that chatter, yet remain unbroken.

Noting every movement, every pause in time,
Determining when to accept, and when to decline.
Restarting the journey, like a soul reborn,
Yearning for destination, heart adorns.

Philosophies of life, love intertwine,
Burning passionately, then cooling in kind.
Are these emotions innate or driven by fate?
All perspectives considered, no truth to negate.

Towards whom does heart yearn and sway?
Is it mere trial and error, a game to play?
Seeking solace in prayer, Allah's decree,
Quietening the soul, ending inner melee.

Now, feelings, thoughts, and emotions align,
After deep analysis, understanding shines.
Knowing oneself truly, more than any observer,
Case history irrelevant, destiny's path to uncover.

This journey of self-discovery complete,
By Allah's will, our destiny we shall meet.
Our heart's desires, its aims, now clear,
A tapestry woven, guided by love sincere.
