Self-Findment Poem by Charlie Odist

Self-Findment

When you find yourself
I will be right here
Waiting for the day
when joy's elation sheds a tear
Remarkable eyes
are a scene of an irksome pain
A place where the battle
bore the powdered of my darkest shame
A lovely night, a splendid morning
Inglorious jaws whose sleep denounces yawning
Patron of a wounded saint
who loves the love, and endures the hate
I received a letter today
Addressed to me
I still don't know who it was sent for
