Selfish Love Poem by Roselyn A.M.

Selfish Love

I am stuck, I can’t move with my closed eyes
Though I keep on breathing between silent sighs
I am cold and my heart is pounding so hard
I feel like I’m almost dying and out of this life

I am so sorry that I always make you mad
Each time I open up my feelings and give you my side
You throw me hurting words to conceal your hidden lies
You leave me alone, trembling and crying in the dark

Thousand times I wished I have died
So that I can feel no more pain inside my heart
But a voice within whispers in my mind
No I won’t die and give you the freedom you desire

No I won’t, for together we will live the miserable life
