Senryu: Wet Is Fine

Rating: 5.0

When just seventeen
are permitted, for 'rainy',
say that 'wet' is fine.

Similarly, get
away with 'swage' for 'assuage'
and 'gulp' for 'swallow'.

When just seventeen
are allowed, for 'a billow',
you may say, 'a cloud'.
