Sensations

Most cry
at cemeteries and shrines,
and hardships;

some downgrade crimes
and cry at the ways we pay
and the ways we've paid;

and some sensations
cry at hardships told
with omissions and inflations.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
after 'Struggle Street' TV prog. about strugglers in an outer Sydney suburb; and a woman and guy who said they'd cried at Port Arthur 19th century convict prison Tasmania. I said I didn't, but did at the Shrine of Remembrance, Canberra.
