Seperate Ways* Poem by Thistle Wargul

Seperate Ways*

Remembering the day you left,
Listening out for your voice to call me.
Reaching out to hold you tight,
Hoping that you’d soon return.

Baby, now that you’re gone,
I want you to know
I still love you so.
But baby, now that you’re gone,
I’m finally free
To reach my potential.

Never think that I don’t care,
Never think that I’ve forgotten.
I still miss you with all my heart,
And both of us know, it’s time to move on.

Baby, now that you’re gone,
I want you to know
I still love you so.
But baby, now that you’re gone,
I’m finally free
To reach my potential.

Dancing in the rain,
With the storm and thunder and lightening.
I believe that we
Should go our separate ways.

Baby, now that you’re gone,
I want you to know
I still love you so.
But baby, now that you’re gone,
I’m finally free
To reach my potential.

Now that I’m free I can finally see,
Why you left when you did.
And I miss you with all my heart,
But now I have made a new start.
