Setting Sun Poem by Sebrina Rreinardy

Setting Sun

The sun is setting with it's warm glow,
The darkness begins to push its way,
Trying to end another day,

The birds begin to finish their song,
The night chorus starts before they're gone,
Blues and blacks begin to make their stand,
The darkness spreads across the land,

Still the sun is slow to set,
Not quite done with the day just yet,
Holding tightly to the land,
Reaching out for my hand.
