The Devil may take.
The future forbear
Now lies in wait.

Power was mine
I tried to keep.
Ambition tried
Horizons to sweep.
Now love lies
Beyond my reach.

Pleasure sought I
More than I should.
Knowledge sought I
None others would.
Now evil gives rise
From seeds of good.

Seven colors.
Seven tones.
Seven paths to find.
