I cannot quite describe
why music makes me feel so good
but it brings a vital feeling
like no person ever could.
A good song reaches way down deep
and grabs on to my soul.
It can be so electrifying
that I lose control
to the stimulating energy
that spreads me like a knife.
It taps into my anxious veins
and pumps me full of life.
It comes from here on Earth
and yet it takes me high above.
That's why music is the sex of sound
that I will always love.
