Shades Of Love Poem by Sulemana Adam

Shades Of Love

It is a heat
A song of a heart beat
A fever
A running river
A wind whirling, curling tossing
Cursing and mind blowing
A thunder clapping, lighting roof ripping
A feeling, laughing and crying, a gut thwarting
Sweating, throbbing mood toiling
A lion roaring devouring, keeps boiling

What is that?
So charming
Teeth gnawing and stomach churning
Desert sand, a leg in mud sinking
A puzzle can't stop thinking
Music, a samba so blur the rhythm
A poem so nice the rhyming
It's taking yea giving blind confusion
It just understands … a plain confession

Sunshine
Moon light
It's a spot, it feels so right
An angel wings in snow
A heart pudding, face it slow
A candle night of glow
A teacher, it makes you grow
Patience
Conscience
So gentle kind humble it twinkles
A blessing it sprinkles
It is sharing and caring
Healing and curing
A tip
A pit
Fallen in it youngsters merry
And adults marry
An old king and his sages
Council from the rages
It makes elderly behaves chilly
The sane cries silly
Even the beast feast fully

It is a window
A shadow
She's so touched, tip toed and peeping
Mix feeling, deep in the soul he's weeping
What is it?
It's a cloud, shades of love
O bee maker!
Take me to the flower and grain
For love lets together sing "Let it rain"
