Shades Of Our Tears Poem by Anthony Joseph Erangey

Shades Of Our Tears

From highest elation, to deepest blue,
our emotions ascend and plummet too.
Neither one superior, in it's grace
within our hearts, they take hold, and embrace.

Sorrow is the herald, of happiness.
It's sad song sung, a tune of emptiness
Woven through our thoughts, are sweet memories
of better days to come, all pain released.

How is it, that we know, the two are one?
When one begins and the other is done?
No, I think we have seen throughout our years
Both sorrow and joy are shades of our tears.
