Shadow Poem by Anna Heminsley

Follow the shadow,
Across the long wall,
Keep on following it,
Until you hear a call.

Long in the distance,
You try to reach out,
And realize it's for nothing,
Then sit there and just doubt.

The shadow slightly disappears,
And you don't know what for,
You watch it disappear,
Through a funny shaped door.

Your mind wants to wander,
You want to look inside,
Through the door you walk,
With only yourself as a guide.
