Shadow (In The Silent Hour) Poem by THEO RAY

Shadow (In The Silent Hour)

Shadow, in this silent hour-my soul in the field of dying flowers.
Seeking someones hand-vultures in the sky, this is the dying land,
this is where I stand.

By candlelight.....you raised the night.
By the open sea, sung sorrow's dream,
as the angel wept by the running
stream.

The rhyme scheme brought this poems depressing nature to life. It was also short simple and universal, in my opinon a great poem.

great piece of state description, a place where you stand...short but meaningful, poetically explanatory.. a 10.
