Golgotha Poem by THEO RAY

Golgotha

Twilight, the brahman baptized by India's sun. The universe is in the mind, religion is nothing, let the soul sing.

I cut my long hair and shaved my head. In the dark corner, drinking wine....desolation, I'm dressed in black......love is a song.....that once shined.

Daniel in the lions lair.
Job wept, for God wasn't there.
Cast your net in the open sea, there is truth in charity, there is wealth in poverty.
Remember alms, know that pain is.......know that doubt weighs heavy in the heart.....know....we're reaching in the dark.

I'm dressed in black, the moon is red, the sky is black, the stars are twinkling, like suffering angels in prayer.

Summer solstice, praised in a sonnet, summer solstice, the sun was red. Summer solstice, Golgotha Golgotha, summer solstice, Golgotha Golgotha.......is where I stand, and where I kneel.
