Shadows Of The Past. Pt.1 Poem by Mountain Man

Shadows Of The Past. Pt.1

Shadows of a lady
dressed in black,
As we tripped the light to
something fantasy.
Eliza you wer the bright shining
woman that night.
As I'm in today
I remember your embrace that
night at the Derby.
Songs of old,
songs a new
were played that night.
Night brings forth its romance.
Romance, a dance
a country torch
& twang rang out
that night.
Blues r & b, metal boys
took their stand
that New Years eve & day.
