Shady Lines Poem by abejide ayodeji

Shady Lines

Rating: 4.5

One day, your soul will depart in a endless sleep,
Mine shall be waiting with a boat.
To ferry you in waters so deep,
Dighted in a deluxe waistcoat.
When the surge of darkness begins to flow,
My shoulders would uphold for another hundred years.
At the gates, if the angels send you below,
Hell will be quenched with a rain of my tears.

Beautiful love poem insightfully brought forth from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. A lovely piece indeed. Thanks for sharing Abejide.
