Shake-The-Pear Poem by Ashish Katwal

Shake-The-Pear

Rating: 5.0

'shake-the-pear'
'shake-the-pear'
Shake my pear'
Oh! Shakespeare.

Write me sonnets
write me love
I want to read-
your poetry by heart.

Loneliness was to me mere
I want you to take me there-
to the land of eternity.
So, I am waiting for you here-
to shake-my-pear
My Shakespeare.

The profound night without you
how much love do i need to bear?
I write for you more and more
but, all my words becomes bare.

Thus, All I do is weep my tear(s)
And I only wish you were here-
to shake-my-pear
oh! my darling Shakespeare.

When you had left, I had learnt nothing
With me at least you were near-
to read me love, to write me love
but, alone now I have to fear
Who will ever shake-my-pear?

Now, I only wish you were here, -
near.
to shake-my-pear
to shake-it-here
oh! my darling Shakespeare.

I am for you a lonely tree-
A beautiful mystery.
I am the fruit(pear) , that has to ripen now
with its smell, taste, breadth and emptiness.
So, I look to you and took my vow-
only you would savor me tomorrow.
So, come my darling
Shake-the-pear!
Shake-the-pear!
shake me and eat me here!
