I want to die
And then be reborn as a butterfly.
Colorful and free.
It leaves me breathless and shaking,
Lost in myself.
But im outside of myself,
My vessel sits empty.
I swim through life,
Body-less and clear.
Colors swarm and feelings erase.
My fingertips hum.
The words cause an earthquake in my bones,
Shaking me like the force.
Shocking me like lighting on dry grass,
Igniting it into vengeful flames of thought.
With each word that finds itself formed in to existence,
The world cries out like a baby,
To be heard and seen.
To have a voice.
But when it tries it cannot speak,
It's trapped by infancy,
It cries.
I want to die,
To be shaken so hard that my legs break and I fall.
Only to live again as a butterfly,
Because my legs will never walk again.
To be shaken so hard that the only way to survive,
Is to fly.
To live in the wind,
Fluid like a creek.
I want to die And then be reborn as a butterfly. Colorful and free. the only way to survive, Is to fly. To live in the wind, your imagination is so powerful. this is a great gift from God for a poet. thank you very much. tony
Colours spark in imagination and imagery to fly and survive with hopes and attitudes. Very amazing poem is shared really.10
