Shallow Poem by Ray Hansell

Shallow

Rating: 5.0

Your words are so empty
They echo when you speak
The promises you make
Are so very weak

No one ever believes
The words that leave your lips
When you are not around
You are never missed

You should try speaking the truth
Believe me it would serve you well
But with all the lies you say
When you speak the truth no one could tell
