Shared Futures Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Shared Futures

Shared futures
As we cannot have lone existence,
History of earth, history of time, history of man
Most important,
The history of civilization,
Geography more important than politics,
Development of science and technology,
Boundaries and barriers are but man'-made,
Battles fought where have they led to,
Where have deadly wars,
Wars will be fought for nefarious motives,
But who will bandage the wounds of writhing humanity, say you,
Send medical aid to the war-fatigued zones?

In this age of post-humanities, digital humanities,
The Intranet facility,
The AI,
Carbon dating, archival studies, forensic testing,
Genetic cloning,
How to look back with sinister war plan and agenda,
When the world has shrunken,
The globe seems to be into the fists of ours,
What it say to,
Waht it in you,
What in me?
