Sharp Incision
i cut through you
sharply
on a bloodless incision
you won't believe it
until i do it to you,
like this,
close your eyes
and i will kiss you
i have a knife
on my tongue
and it will cut
a slice of your
throat down to the
chamber of your
heart and you
will know
love,
it kills us,
bloodlessly,
explodes
without the sparks
of the 4th of July
you fell like running naked
under a blue sky
and then
it rains.
