Shattered Poem by Tess Green

Shattered

Shattered;
Like a glass
Thrown across a room.

Scattered around
And stepped on.

Cutting deep into
Peoples lives
Without the true
realization
Of what's going on.

Days go by
And I wonder when
My pieces will be
Glued back together.

Days go by
And I wonder if the cuts
And gashes I've caused
Have healed.

Shattered and scattered
Like a glass that has
Been thrown
Across the room.
I wonder if my pieces
Will once again unite.
