Lying on the floor
scattered everywhere are
shattered pieces
They are shattered pieces
of my precious heart
So fradgile like glass
so beautifule like the ocean
I gave you this delicate hear of mine
to tend to it
For I thought you wouldn't let it fall
But here they are, pieces
of my heart broken
What will I do?
Each time I try to pick up thoese scattered pieces
they cut my fingers
So they are left lying on the floor
I am left empty and lifeless with thoes
shattered pieces
I know how it feels to be in this situation. Your words are very precise and full of meaning. But sometimes just your heart isnt enough- they go on to brake your whole world. I hope you know what I am trying to say. I have a friend who left. I thought he was my everything but he left and broke my up into the pieces you have discribed. He hasn't been in touch for 3 years know. somewhere deep down I think I still love him but I know that I must move on adn be strong enough to pick up those pieces and try again. You must be strong to do it too. xx Tammie.
