Shawarma Poem by Xyza Dile

Shawarma

Rating: 5.0

i was keen in driving
when my tummy started whispering, gurgling
i'm struggling and freaking
my bf controls my food after boxing.
i'm in vain, crying
for my tummy was starving
my mind's wandering-
of Shawarma, I'm wishing!
i went on driving whining
as my tummy was grumping.
is that the stall i'm sighting?
i see the skewer gently rotating
i came running
as the watery fluid came dripping
and the beef juice is gracefully extracting.
a mad woman was blitzing
as if i was filching
i was just waiting, staring
at the skewer gently rotating
as the watery fluid came dripping,
tomatoes chopping,
onion-cucumber pairing,
and the beef juice gracefully extracting.
i was just craving, drooling
as the man was grilling,
putting cheese and lots of dressing
on that big-sized pita i'm having.
i see the skewer gently rotating,
that mad woman going,
and my bf sizzling
well all i'm caring..
is i'm loving, munching
that SHAWARMA i was dreaming!
