She - Poem by Rebecca Rowback

She won't let anybody see her face
Because her eyes show tears
Her bangs hang over her face
So nobody knows her expression
Her expression is full of pain
And she's trying to hold back tears
She hurt her once again
She tells herself to move on
But that never seems to work
Maybe she should of listened to her friends
But no she listened to her fucking heart
Every time she listens to her heart
She just gets hurt
She should stop it
She really should
Love is no good
No good at all
Oh no somebody saw her face
She hides it quickly
She's holding back tears again
She needs to move on
It's not good to hold on like this
That girl's no good for her
She already hurt her twice
She will do it again
She's holding back more tears
This is why she didn't want to get back with this girl
This is why she didn't want to listen to her heart
She didn't want to hold back tears
She's full of anger now
Anger and pain
She hates both of those emotions
She hates a lot of things
She hates love
She hates getting hurt
And she hates that love always ends with hurt
She hates the world
