She Fades Away Poem by Gbolabo Olugbuyi

She Fades Away

I've been waiting for so long,
I've been trying to stay strong,
But now I've got to move on,
Because you're gone.

Thy fade away into thin air,
Your picture in my mind is no more clear,
That all this could happen was my fear,
But now I'm done and don't care.

Thy heart breaking is like an alcohol hangover,
I gets high, crazy and sober,
And now I've turned to addict,
But thy just turned to sadist.

I know I couldn't provide all what thy longed for,
That makes our love turned sour,
Thy left without shutting the door,
I hope you find sweetness on Thy tour.

I'm not the right person for you anymore,
New chapter has been opened for us,
Derail not on the promiscuous path you're following,
Because thy got bundle of surprises ahead waiting.
