She Hates Me Not. - Poem by Sharjeel Shahid

She says she hates me
Thats not something new i hear,
thats what i hear daily, i have to silently bear

She says she hates me
She has many reasons for that, true
many bad habits i couldn't threw
and my unexpected reactions out of the blue

She stands out from among the crew
She says she hates me
true! no one likes a druggie,
but i quit drugs
though im not comfortable and at times it bugs

But she says she hates me,
I be myself, im not a cheap wannabe,
i modified me for you, and only yours im gonna be

She says she hates me
no one likes my hue
because they cant accept the pictures of truth i drew
what i always say is pure and true,
sometimes you make my eyes produce dew

She says she hates me
still she rates me among a few who to her mean something close
still takes care of me and protects me,
protects me like a rose,
she only says that she hates me
else why ever holding to me she chose
its a complicated but a really deep prose

I know why exactly why she hates me alot
my presence makes her feel that it is not hate,
she just doesn't want to accept fate,
I am the only last chance for love she has got

She says she hates me
but she hates me not,
