She Is Homely Poem by RIC BASTASA

She Is Homely

she is homely
heavy legs, dead toenails,
crooked limbs, thick lips,
round eyes like a
soccer ball,
twisted, twitching face,
wild eyebrows,
entangled hair,
rough skin,
flat nose,
by all means she
is not like the rest
who are lovable
but i know you noble
man loving a
betty la fea,
for if you do not love
her,
who may ever can?

thanks to you.
