She Is The Flower Poem by Lory Dugger

She Is The Flower

She is the flower,
I am the bee.
I drink her nectar,
She sets me free.

I come back for more,
She hums in solitude
Sadder than before,
I wonder what to do.

She is the flower,
I am a thief.
I drink her nectar,
She sets me free.

She sings with pride,
I get what I need.
She's left to die,
While I gladly feed.

She is the flower,
I am her killer.
I drank her nectar,
She sets me free.
