She Loves You Poem by Hailey Agnew

She Loves You

Rating: 1.5

She loves you.
Did you know?
Ya, when she figured out her feelings,
She was pretty stoked.
Oh, love.
A first love,
How truely like the sun rising over the mountains in the east.
The beauty and simplicity.
How somehow everything in her life seems to settle into place.
How being apart from you kills her,
Every moment your away.
And why wouldn't this be good news?
Love is famous for it's power.
The powerful emotions,
Of love and desire.
But when she figured it out,
When she clued in,
That you were that selfish,
She knew she couldn't win.
She still loved you,
Of course.
There was nothing she could do then,
But sulk in her remorse.
You're such a jerk,
She wishes she hated you.
In some ways she does,
But in most ways she'd love you and be true.
She walk down the isle and sing the words 'I do'.
It's so unfair,
The way you treat her.
It's all about you,
You forget she's a sentient creature.
You look down on her,
But you're falling.
Too bad by the time you're off your high horse,
She'll have learned to deal with the mourning.
Can't you imagine,
What it will be like?
When you realize you love her,
And it's far too late?
By then you're gone,
And she has moved on.
Maybe if you weren't so self-absorbed,
You would wake up and realize,
You've been such a moron.
