She Stole My Dad Away From Me Poem by Hailey Agnew

She Stole My Dad Away From Me

Daddy, daddy,
I just wanted you to love me like you used to.
Daddy, daddy,
I just really miss you.
I’m not trying to be rude,
I’m just so mad at you.
I have that look on my face to hide my hurt,
It’s not just a snotty attitude.
You chose her over me,
And daddy it hurts,
You don’t know how I feel,
I can’t even find the words.
I cry so much and I miss the man you were,
The loving dad you were before you met her.
She hates me dad,
And she’s stolen you away from me,
I’ve tried many times to get you back,
But no matter what you just won’t see,
She’s stolen you away from me.
I’m trying so hard and you don’t understand,
You’re blinded by your love for her,
You used to be my favourite man.
Daddy, daddy you were the best,
I don’t know who you’ve become anymore.
You were my hero,
Though you had your flaws,
You taught me my manners,
My live-living laws.
Daddy, daddy she stole you away,
I am so mad and hurt I don’t know what to say.
She’s convinced you I’m evil,
But I’m just so hurt,
That you believe her and treat me like dirt.
You tell me to whipe the look of disgust of my face,
But I can’t I’m so mad when I look at you and her,
I can’t just smile it would be so fake.
I’m not going to pretend I’m happy,
Just to shut up that gold-diggers yackity yack yacky.
She nags and she’s mean,
She’s a gold-diging queen.
She’s stolen you away from me.
Daddy, daddy,
I love you so much,
I’d give anything just to have you back,
From that stupid, brain-washing, ugly hag.

This is obviously a very hard thing and having a huge affect on you, I'm guessing this is how you let your emotions out about it and although it is a horrible situation it has lead to two extremely good poems
