She Once Asked For The Moon, So I Gave That And The Stars (A Tragic Love Epic)

Rating: 0.5

Evidently, you have me speaking of L-O-V-E so eloquently
Presently, and pressingly, something about her something so heavenly
Yet incredibly
I distrust, selfishly because something so great will leave me feeling helplessly

Then the truth hits hard, no looking back no time to disregard
I wanna go somewhere, yet with you I will never get far
You once asked for the moon, so I gave that and the stars
The universe echo’s loud and feels alone for it still doesn’t know who you are

Love destroyed the order of the world, love left my heart withered and dry
So she would cry
Just so I can drink the tears from her eyes
Maybe to quench the thirst from hollow feelings of goodbye

I journeyed and searched for love through the valley of the blinded
Through the nothingness of the lies I find it
The lightness, the pureness, the genuine refined-ness
I think I found love again because you left my heart lifeless
