she’s a winter girl.
there’s something about the snow she likes.
how much does it take to satisfy her?
she’s a winter girl.

she cries in summer
(anxious drops)
and begs for the cold to come.
she wants to speed up the passage of time;
after all the years
she still tries to rush the calendar.

she’s a winter girl
there’s something about the robin’s song she doesn’t like.
her spirits start to rise when the snow begins to fall.....

she’s a winter girl.
