She’s Got Magic Poem by Marilyn Lott

She’s Got Magic

If you saw a picture of beauties
From nineteen fifty-two
They have just what it takes
To get an approval from you

Do you pause and wonder
How beauty is defined?
There are so many thoughts
That quickly come to mind

It just might be her smile
Or eyes the perfect shade
Sometimes you’ll see a lady
Who’s beauty just never fades

Is it movie-star charisma
That’s captive to the eye?
Or maybe it’s her softness
That makes you want to cry

She has that sort of charm
It’s so subtle you don’t know
But she does it without thinking
She’s got the Magic we love so!
