(she's The Reason) I Frown Poem by Rich Downes

(she's The Reason) I Frown

Rating: 2.7

Love causes crimes
It feels like I must compromise
Create dread
But won't you see?

Jealous of birds
They have no need for pretence
Nor deny all access
Can I ever break free?

If there's no rules
Do you think about me when we're apart?
Preparation for combat, for combat
When I still wanna love thee

Wannabe strong
But I'm wondering if I was ever the one
One of many in the crowds
I'm not the one you greet

Such a loveless town
Like a ghost, ghost town
But (she's the reason) I frown
Such a loveless town
Rejection is not something I fear
Such a loveless town

Pain like knives
I can't read the danger signs
Won't you be kind?
'Cause I'm not that tough

Such a loveless town
The only thing I feel is that I'm only there to be a clown
My love lives on
And it turns to rust

Such a loveless town
Like a ghost, ghost town
But (she's the reason) I frown
Such a loveless town
Rejection is not something I fear
Such a loveless town

Such a loveless town
Like a ghost, ghost town
But (she's the reason) I frown
Such a loveless town
Rejection is not something I fear
Such a loveless town

Such a loveless town
Like a ghost, ghost town
But (she's the reason) I frown
Such a loveless town
Rejection is not something I fear
Such a loveless town

Such a loveless town
Like a ghost, ghost town
But (she's the reason) I frown
Such a loveless town
Rejection is not something I fear
Such a loveless town

Like a ghost, ghost town
Like a ghost, ghost town
