She's Walking Poem by Marien Jacobs

She's Walking

(Actally a song I start writing a few years back, but only get myself to actually finish it in 2009)

She’s walking up the high way
Her eyes fixed on the ground
Her thoughts a mess, I have to say
Questions are thrown around

While a tear leak down her rosy cheek
And fall into the dust
She tries to clear her throat to speak
To confront her broken trust

For how could all just fall away
All end up just for naught?
When all she ever want to say:
“Your love was all I sought”

And once again she walks alone
Her being filled with grieve
And in her heart, there’s now a stone
And she’s fighting to still believe.

She was promised his love till the end of days
And that she’ll always be the one
And without even talking face to face
He told her his love was gone.

Every step she tries to take from there
Seems a stagger all the way
For the pain inside was to much to bare
Her whole being felt betrayed.

Her faith which once was oh so strong
Seems to waver more and more
Till she don’t know where she belong
What was life worth living for?

She could hardly face each new day
And her heart cries out in grieve
And on her knees she stays to pray
Oh God help my unbelief….

When her faith seems at its lowest part
Her eyes began to see
A new beginning and start
And God came to set her free

Through all the pain she had to bare
She found the Person in it all
And her rest she found in God who care
And helped her not to fall.

And in Him she found a friendship
She never knew before
And she wait on Him…..
For what Hé got in store…..
