She Walks In Starlight Poem by Ahmad M. Bassioni

She Walks In Starlight

For she walks in starlight
Amongst the vacant Cosmos lie
Deep in the caverns of night
Where rays of hope fade
And rivers by run dry.

She Walks the evening sky
With a heavy clouded heart
Where she sets it deep in the high
It rumbled against the clouds
And thunder tore me apart.

And still she walks in eternity
With stardust over her lips
Glittering white, marble of the sea
And a soul set ablaze; afire
To the beauty of her smile slips.

Shining the face of the moon
Of a lullaby sung at dusk
A lost symbol, a carved rune
Reflected on a starless lake
Written by a necklace of tusk.
